BELT WEAR PROFILE
EVALUATION
The procedure applied on the conveyor belt allows the definition of the wear profile and detects the critical points. These are analyzed estimating the origin of the wear, either by natural load of the mineral (centered), irregular wear due to conveyor components (locked rollers, skirts, sides), and/or mineral accumulated in certain areas of the conveyor.
HARDNESS EVALUATION
OF THE COVER RUBBER
The hardness tester equipment lets us verify the belt cover rubbers hardness value in Shore A scale to determine if it is within its referential value, which can indicate loss of properties or aging in the covers. If required, preventive actions can then be taken to ensure the reliability of the system.
